DeleteHi Amila. Good initiative and many contemporary authors have also defined the concept of motivation. Motivation has been defined as: the psychological process that gives behavior purpose and direction (Kreitner, 1995)
ReplyDeleteHi Indika. agreed with your point, thank for the commenting.
DeleteAgree with you Amila. Motivation has psychological as well as managerial significance. Motivation, in its psychological sense, refers to a person's internal mental state that is related to the initiation, direction, persistence, intensity, and termination of behaviour. The management definition of motivation, on the other hand, refers to the activity of managers and leaders to encourage others to accomplish results desired or described by the organization or by the manager, and which adheres to a relationship between motivation, ability, and performance (Tosi et al, 2000).
ReplyDeleteAgree with you Janakan. Further, According to Guest (2004), for the psychological contract to be a suitable tool for analyzing the employment relationship, it needs to realize the employment relationship is a two-way exchange, with the focus of promises and obligations of both parties.
DeleteAmila, you are correct. Job satisfaction is defined as "a significant factor in generating emotions of fulfillment through promotions, recognition, pay, and goal attainment" (Ausloos and Pekalski, 2007). Job satisfaction, according to George and Jones (2008), is a combination of feelings people experience about their jobs. Job satisfaction, in particular, is proven to influence motivation, staff performance, and retention, all of which influence the successful implementation of health-care reform (Wang et al., 2017). Workplace motivation necessitates a positive work environment, which does not arise by accident.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the statement. I would like to add bit more to the your comment. Most satisfied employees increase effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and performance
Deleteof organization (Kamery,2004).
Agreed with you Amila. Furthermore employers understand that they need to provide a work environment that creates motivation, many fail to understand the significance of motivation in accomplishing the company's mission and vision (Susan M,2020).
ReplyDeleteHi Upeksha ,agree with you motivated employee has aligned their goals with the organization's goals and directs their efforts in that direction Kalimullah (2010).
DeleteMotivation is contagious. It is often said that if you are not motivated yourself, you cannot motivate others. There are a number of motivational theories that are essentially complementary. The most prominent theories are those dealing with expectation, goal setting, and justice, which are classified as process or cognitive theories.

Hi Ravi, Agreed with you, the point you have mentioned is an very important
DeleteHi, Further to your point, The staff of any industry are essential resources to that industry’s success. Human asset in the 21st century is considered the important asset of any company (Hafiza, Shah, Jamsheed & Zaman, 2011).
ReplyDeleteAgreed with you, Motivated employees are needed in our rapidly changing workplaces. Motivated employees help organizations survive. Motivated employees are more productive. To be effective, managers need to understand what motivates employees within the context of the roles they perform, (James, R. L.).
ReplyDeleteHi Amila, Agree with you. It is important to improve the mental factors as this is an IT company (Dobre, 2013). However love and belongings plays a major role because the time that the employees of the company is more over looking for the peace of mind and to spend the time with the loved once (Islam and Ismail, 2008).
ReplyDeleteHi Amila, Agreed with your points, The most valuable and volatile asset of any organization is a well-motivated and stable workforce that is competent, dedicated, and productive (Kreisman, 2002). The motivation of employees in the workplace remains one of the sensitive subjects. There is a wide variety of methods available for motivating employees.

Motivation is the force that energizes , directs and sustain behaviors high performance is achieved by well motivated people who are prepared to exercise discretionary effort, example motivated employees do more than is expected of them alone(Armstrong,2014)
